The Easy Way to Buy Bitcoin

If you want to keep your life as simple as possible while getting the highest return for your time then this is what we recommend doing:

1. Open an account at Wealthsimple Trade.
2. Make sure to turn on 2 factor authorization and use a different password than any other site.
3. You can fund it with cash while you wait for a signal. Your money is insured while it's there.
4. When you want to buy you have a few options:
   1. In your TFSA or RRSP you can buy QBTC.TO (An ETF that tracks the price of Bitcoin) or MSTR (Microstrategy) stock which is essentially a levered play on Bitcoin. If you don't know what that means then stick to buying QBTC.TO. The benefits of this is that your Bitcoin can't be hacked but the negative is that you can only trade during trading hours.
   2. You can use WealthSimple Crypto and buy BTC directly from there. The benefits of this is that you can trade BTC 24/7 but you'd have to make sure your account is secure because BTC can be taken out of your account.
